Kramers
Hendrik Anthony Kramers, or Hans Kramers for short, was a Dutch physicist who worked with Neils Bohr to understand how electromagnetic waves interacted with matter. Hendrik was born on February 2nd, 1894 and died on April 24th, 1952. Kramers was taken in by Neils Bohr while Kramer was still a PH.D. candidate and worked with him for about 10 years. Kramers was also known to be the first person to isolate pure neodymium metal in 1925. He did so by extracting the lanthanides and metals out of the ores in their salt form.
